About Roman Nowygrod, MD
Dr. Roman Nowygrod is Professor of Surgery and specializes in Vascular Surgery including reconstructive arterial surgery, minimal access vascular surgery, surgical and medical management of venous disorders, renal transplantation and angioaccess. He received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his general surgical residency at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center and a two year NIH research fellowship at the University of Minnesota where he earned a degree in Master of Science in experimental surgery.
