Sanjay S. Patel, M.D., M.P.H, MSc

Dr. Sanjay Patel is an Associate Professor of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine, and Director of the Fellowship Program, within the Division of Hematopathology. He joined Weill Cornell/NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital after completing clinical and research training in hematopathology at the Brigham and Women's Hospital/Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. His research interests span the field of hematopathology, notably focusing on the areas of hematopoiesis, NPM1-mutated acute myeloid leukemia and pre-leukemic states, and classic Hodgkin lymphoma.
