About Shonali Soans, MS, RD, CDN

Shonali's journey into the world of integrative health and wellbeing began not in a classroom or a clinic, but through her own struggles with health during her teenage years growing up in India. These personal challenges sparked a profound realization about the power of nutrition and lifestyle choices, leading her to a path where she could help others achieve better health. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics and Marketing in New Zealand, Shonali felt a deeper calling towards health and wellbeing. She returned to India to work on adolescent health empowerment projects in Mumbai's underserved communities.

In pursuit to further her passion, Shonali moved to the US in 2015 where she excelled in her Master's degree in Health and Nutrition Sciences at Brooklyn College, and her Dietetic Internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering, earning top honors and receiving prestigious awards such as the Janet A. Schwartz Memorial Award for Excellence in Nutrition Research and the Marge Magner Scholarship Award.

With over a decade of dynamic experience, including her role as an employee wellbeing expert and dietitian at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and as an adjunct lecturer at the City University of New York, Shonali has consistently demonstrated her expertise in integrative and functional health. Her work, deeply rooted in scientific research and traditional wisdom, has earned her multiple accolades, including two time recipient of the Registered Dietitian of the Year award at New York Presbyterian.

Today, Shonali is a beacon for those seeking transformative health changes, embodying a commitment to holistic, compassionate care that addresses the root causes of health issues. Her work is more than a profession; it's a lifelong commitment to enhancing how we live and thrive.
