Sofya Gindina, MD, PHD

Sofya Gindina MD PhD is a Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery Fellow at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She graduated magna cum laude from New York University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with minors in Genetics and Chemistry. She then completed the Medical Scientist Training Program (MD/PhD) at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. Her doctoral research focused on identifying and developing novel therapeutic targets for glaucoma.
