About Stacy Wang Baird, MD
Stacy W. Baird, MD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. She is a cardiologist with expertise in non-invasive imaging, focusing on stress testing, transesophageal echocardiography and 2D-echocardiography in the diagnosis and evaluation of cardiac conditions.
Dr. Baird received her undergraduate degree from Princeton University and her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed her internship and medical residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by fellowship training in Cardiovascular Diseases at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. Following fellowship, Dr. Baird then completed an Advanced Fellowship in Echocardiography at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia, with a focus on the use of 3D-echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography in the evaluation of cardiovascular diseases, particularly valvular heart disease. She is board certified in cardiology, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology.
