Stephen Merola, M.D.

Stephen Merola, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine. He is the Chief of Surgery and Surgeon in Chief at NewYork Presbyterian Queens. He also serves as the hospitals Surgical Quality Office and as the Chief of General, Minimally Invasive, and Bariatric Surgery. Dr. Merola is board-certified in General Surgery and holds a Focused Practice Designation in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery from the American Board of Surgery.
