About Susan Beker, D.O.
Dr. Susan Beker, DO is a board-certified Pediatric Cardiologist and an Assistant Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine. She also serves as an Assistant Attending at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
Dr. Beker began her medical education at Hofstra University in New York, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She then pursued her medical degree at the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, obtaining her Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
She completed her pediatric residency at Westchester Medical Center, followed by a chief residency role at Elmhurst Hospital Center. Dr. Beker then went on to complete her Pediatric Cardiology fellowship at NYU Langone Health.
Dr. Beker specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of congenital and acquired heart conditions. She utilizes advanced imaging techniques to ensure precise diagnoses, leading to improved neonatal and pediatric outcomes.
