Taylor B. Sewell, MD, MBA

Dr. Sewell is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at CUMC and the Assistant Dean for Admissions at Columbia's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Clinically, Dr. Sewell is a pediatric hospitalist who regularly attends on the general pediatrics inpatient teaching service alongside medical students and residents. He teaches in the four-year longitudinal VP&S course Foundations of Clinical Medicine and co-created an interdisciplinary course at Columbia Business School that was honored with the Provost's Interdisciplinary Teaching Award in 2022. He also received the VP&S Vanneck-Bailey Award in 2024 for his curriculum development efforts.
