About Wallace J. Wang, MD
Dr. Wallace Wang is a caring and patient focused gastroenterologist serving the communities of Queens, Brooklyn and Manhattan. Dr. Wang is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Sanford I. Weill Medical College of Cornell University and an Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian /Weill Cornell Medical Center, NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens and NewYork-Presbyterian/Lower Manhattan Hospital.Dr. Wang manages patients with all types of gastrointestinal disorders. He manages abdominal pain, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), colon cancer screening, gastrointestinal bleeding and many other conditions. He specializes in therapeutic procedures including Colonoscopy, Upper Endoscopy, EUS and ERCP.Dr. Wang received his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical Center, the main teaching hospital of Albany Medical College, where he also served as Chief Resident. He completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship training at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens and went on to pursue additional subspecialty training with an Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, under the guidance of Dr. David L. Carr-Locke, a world-renowned endoscopist and a pioneer in the field of ERCP.Dr. Wang is Board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. BecauseDr. Wang is multilingual in English, Chinese (Mandarin) and Spanish--patients from a variety of backgrounds enjoy having him as their physician.
