He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical Center, the main teaching hospital of Albany Medical College, where he also served as Chief Resident. He completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship training at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens and went on to pursue additional subspecialty training with an Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, under the guidance of Dr. David L. Carr-Locke, a world-renowned endoscopist and a pioneer in the field of ERCP.Dr. Wang is Board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
