Wayne Tam, M.D., Ph.D.

Dr. Wayne Tam received his undergraduate education at The Johns Hopkins University  with honors and subsequently graduated from the Cornell-Rockefeller-Memorial Sloan-Kettering Tri-Institutional combined MD and PhD program. He was then recruited to the pathology residency training program here at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell Medical Center. After his residency training in anatomic pathology, he completed a hematopathology fellowship at Cornell and served as a Leukemia and Lymphoma Society research fellow in the Institute of Cancer Genetics, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, under the tutelage of Dr. Riccardo Dalla-Favera.
